Hello! I'm Amy, a licensed acupuncturist (LAc) and herbalist with a passion for offering holistic wellness services through Chinese medicine. I enjoy working with people of all ages and strive to empower each person's health journey with improved outcomes and quality of life. In my personal experience, Chinese medicine has helped me with challenges relating to stress, tension, pain, digestion, dermatology, and more. In clinic, I see its benefits in the progress we track for others on a daily basis.
Along with acupuncture, I often include herbal medicine strategies as a significant internal component in healing. Through the Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine®, I continue advanced training in classical Chinese herbal medicine, applying systematic historic medical wisdom to modern clinical challenges.
I earned a 4-year Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) from Pacific College of Health and Science, where I also gained clinical experience in Supportive Oncology at RUSH University Medical Center, Rehabilitative Medicine at Jesse Brown V.A. Medical Center, and Chronic Pain Management at Heartland Health Centers Chicago. A national certification as Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (Dipl.OM, NCCAOM®) means I meet national board competency in Biomedicine, Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, Chinese Medicine theory/diagnosis/treatment, Clean Needle Technique, and ongoing educational renewal requirements.
If you have questions about something you're going through and how these methods may support you, let's chat!
