Amy LaRue is a licensed acupuncturist (LAc) and herbalist with a passion for offering holistic wellness services, empowering each person's health journey with individualized care plans. She often includes herbal medicine strategies as a significant internal component in healing. Through the Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine®, she continues advanced training in classical Chinese herbal medicine, applying systematic historic medical wisdom to modern clinical challenges. She is also earning an international certificate in Oncology Acupuncture through a comprehensive program with TCM Academy.

Amy earned her 4-year Doctor of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine (DACM) degree from Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago, where she also gained clinical experience in Supportive Oncology at RUSH University Medical Center, Rehabilitative Medicine at Jesse Brown V.A. Medical Center, and Chronic Pain Management at Heartland Health Centers. With a national certification as Diplomate of Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine (Dipl.AHM, NCBAHM®, formerly NCCAOM), she meets national board standards in Biomedicine, Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, Chinese Medicine theory/diagnosis/treatment, Clean Needle Technique, and continuing education credits for renewal at national and state levels.
