Amy LaRue is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM), licensed acupuncturist (LAc) and herbalist with a passion for offering holistic wellness services, empowering each person's health journey with individualized care plans. She often includes herbal medicine strategies as a significant internal component in healing. Through the Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine®, she continues advanced training in classical Chinese herbal medicine, applying systematic historic medical wisdom to modern clinical challenges. She is earning an International Oncology Acupuncture certificate through a comprehensive program with TCM Academy.

Amy earned her 4-year doctoral degree from Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago, where she also gained clinical experience in Supportive Oncology at RUSH University Medical Center, Rehabilitative Medicine at Jesse Brown V.A. Medical Center, and Chronic Pain Management at Heartland Health Centers. With a national certification as Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (Dipl.OM, NCCAOM®) she meets national board competency in Biomedicine, Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, Chinese Medicine theory/diagnosis/treatment, Clean Needle Technique, and ongoing educational renewal requirements.
